Gachoka on Monday evening through his Twitter handle called upon various stakeholders including State House, Ministry of Interior and National Police Service among others to ensure that justice is served to the student who was physically assaulted by the police.

"@StateHouseKenya @InteriorKE this should meet justice..it’s appalling @ODPP_KE #jkuat @Justinmuturi parliament and @Ken_Lusaka provide oversight on rogue policing @NPSOfficial_KE @IG_NPS @NPSC_KE @IPOA_KE @DCI_Kenya this (sic) young people are hurting why do this to our future leaders?" Gachoka's tweet read.

The show host in a separate tweet termed the force used by the officers as an act of "terrorism".

"@StateHouseKenya @InteriorKE @IPOA_KE @ODPP_KE this night video is honestly police terrorism against our people it’s harrowing cc #jkuat," he added.

In a rejoinder over the issue, Interior CS Fred Matiang'i has vowed to take action against the officers involved in the brutality.
