Duale says that he is in good working terms with Governor Korane contrary to what some media outlets are reporting.

The Jubilee MP says that there is nothing that can make him fall out with Korane.

He has dismissed claims of political and clan supremacy battles with Korane.

"It is wrong for some sections of the media to insinuate that I have fallen out with Korane, that is not the case," he said.

Duale said that he is working with Korane on key development projects in Garissa.

"Korane is my governor and I have much respect for him and as a matter of fact we are working together on development projects," he said in an interview with a local daily.

Duale hit out at 'political idlers' who he said are spreading propaganda with the intention of derailing the county's development agenda and dividing leaders.

"I supported Korane's candidature as Garissa governor in 2017 and we will continue to work together for the benefit of the people," he said.

Duale asked Gairsssa locals not to listen to political propaganda and work with their leaders on development.

There have been claims that Duale has fallen out with Korane.

It is further being alleged that Duale is siding with some MCAs who are plotting to oust Garissa County Assembly Speaker Mohamed Abbas.

Duale has denied the allegations, saying that he has no reason to support the ouster of the County Assembly Speaker.

Last week, Governor Korane warned some politicians who he accused of holding meetings in Nairobi to frustrate the county leadership.

Korane said that he will not allow people to interfere in his administration.
