People working around the premises who had left their belongings behind in the course of the attack were on Tuesday allowed collecting their items.

In a live coverage by KTN News on Tuesday, the movement remained restricted at the premises which remain heavily guarded by security personnel.

However, civilians were allowed back to collect their vehicles from the parking lots, but under the close surveillance of the law enforcers.

Workers were also allowed back to collect their belongings from their workplaces, but also under police surveillance.

According to some of the people who managed to collect their belongings, the security personnel first considered victims who might have been injured in the melee.

Consequently, officers allowed those sent by victims to pick items on their behalf, on a condition that they bring with them written documents as proof.

21 people were killed in the attack conducted by Somali based terror group Al Shabaab.

This comes at a time when the National Police Service has dispatched teams to several parts on the nation in a bid to nab people who might have lent a hand in the attack.
