Miguna through a tweet on his official Twitter handle told off Kenyans celebrating the national team's victory saying it was like an 'adult celebrating that he has wrestled a toddler to the ground'.

"Fellow Kenyans, celebrating the #KenyaVsEthiopia victory is like an adult celebrating that he has wrestled a toddler to the ground. Ethiopia went through a 30-year-civil-war and has been at the ICU since the war ended. Beat Brazil, France or Italy and I'll join your celebrations," Miguna tweeted.

In the 'United States of Kiambu' Facebook group where a screenshot of the tweet was shared, members responded differently;y, with some telling Miguna to 'keep off Kenya's affairs as he is not a citizen'.

Others who recognised Miguna as a Kenyan citizen accused him of being unpatriotic and ungrateful that the national team is on its way to reclaim its lost glory of yesteryears.

However, there are those who still agreed with Miguna's sentiments saying Harambee Stars had nothing much worth national celebrations as 'Ethiopia is a weak team'.

Here are some of the reactions to Miguna's tweet.
