Miguna's assertions result as President Uhuru Kenyatta is in China in what has been touted to seek for another additional loan worth Sh368B for the completion of the SGR from Naivasha-Kisumu a move Miguna has retorted.

Taking to his Facebook page on Friday Morning, Miguna said the President and his brother 'stole' the money stopping the SGR in Naivasha.

"Uhuru Kenyatta gave Sh450 billion of our money to his brother Muhoho purportedly to build an SGR from Mombasa to Kisumu. They stole the money and stopped the SGR at Naivasha, "read his post.

Miguna further said that the President is burdening the nation with loans for the SGR when Chinese are the ones working on the SGR yet the amount of that magnitude could have been used to construct manufacturing plants, revive the sugar industry's in Nyanza and create jobs for over one million young people in the country.

"They now want another Sh360 billion of our money. Why should we spend Sh810 billion to create 200 jobs for the Chinese?,

"Less than 160 Kenyans are employed on the SGR doing menial cleaning, cooking and service jobs, yet Shs. 810 billion is enough to construct manufacturing plants, revive the sugar cane industry in Nyanza and create more than one million jobs for the youth" he added.
