Lack of exercise or exercising too much. Weight loss entails shading off some muscles and fat.  If you don't exercise while lowering calories intakes, muscle mass will be lost accompanied with a decrease in metabolic rate. By contrast, exercising helps minimize the amount of lean mass you lose, boost fat loss and prevent your metabolism from slowing down. Exercising too much, on the other hand, can have a negative effect. Excessive exercise is unsustainable in the long term for most people and may lead to stress. In order to maintain the right metabolic rate, it is advisable to lift weights and do cardio.

Protein deficiency. For one to lose weight, eating enough proteins is highly recommendable. Studies indicate that the weight loss process can be boosted by eating proteins. It can reduce appetite, increase feelings of fullness, decrease calorie intake, increase metabolic rate and protect muscle mass during weight loss. Individuals on a weight loss plan are encouraged to ensure their meals have high protein foods. 

Sugar intake. Fruit juices and soft drinks are a source of sugar. Many people consider fruit juice to healthy. However, juices contain sugar which is dangerous for the body as it may lead to health and weight problems. Liquid calories are dangerous because they have no effect on appetite centres in the brain.
