Despite the poster having the name Cardiff misspelled, the Gor Mahia fan still showed solidarity. The poster she displayed indicated "NANTES--------->CADIFF".

Emiliano Sala, who was a soccer player had signed a transfer move from Franch side Nantes to Cardiff City in England, but he died in an airplane crash last month when he was traveling from France to England to start life at his new club.

His pilot David Ibbotson was also reported dead during the crash, but his body has not yet been found. Kenyans netizens reacted differently to this Gor Mahia lady's poster, with others saying that she was just seeking for attention.

The 'Mashemeji Derby' ended with Gor Mahia smashing AFC 2-0, to climb to the second spot on the table behind table-toppers Mathare United.

The loss left Ingwe in turmoil, after a poor start to the season. The team has already fired their coach, bringing in Rwandese Mbungo to take charge of the former KPL winners.

Gor, on the other hand, are in Angola for a CAF match against Petro Atletico on Wednesday, having won the opening fixture 4-2 against Zamalek.
