The two leaders accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to Kisii County where they held a serious of meetings with local leaders before launching Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.

While Deputy President William Ruto chose to share his photos with Mr Odinga on Facebook, the ODM leader only shared his photos with Uhuru on his Twitter account.

"Joined President Uhuru Kenyatta during today’s tour where we met with leaders from Kisii and Nyamira Counties and thereafter he opened the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital. We shall continue uniting all our people so as to hasten the pace of development," wrote Raila.

Just like Raila, Ruto also chose to tag only President Uhuru Kenyatta on Facebook but shared photos of him and Raila were taken before the Head of State landed.

"The opening of the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) that houses modern equipment, including a CT Scan, Histology and Anatomy laboratories is a huge step towards universal health coverage. It will provide access to cost-effective, specialised health services to wananchi and promote their wellbeing. With other counties the following suit, the achievement of UHC is nigh. With Uhuru Kenyatta during the launch of the KTRH, Kisii County," he wrote.

In December when the duo joined President Uhuru Kenyatta at Kisumu, Dr Ruto tagged Raila in all his social media posts but the ODM leader, just like Wednesday, snubbed the DP.

The two are expected to face each other in 2022 polls. While Dr Ruto has expressed his intentions to run, Raila is yet to formally declare his ambitions.
