The team managed to bag only one point, leaving the tournament without a win, in what was one of their worst performances. 

Kenya went down 0-41 to the USA, 17-40 to France and 14-24 to Canada, but missed the services .of senior players including winger Collins Injera and captain Andrew Amonde.

The team then lost to Tonga 20-17 in semifinals for the 13th place trophy after losing 19-14 to Wales.

Kenyans took to social media to show their stress and displeasure at the performance, with many calling on Kenya Rugby Union to put the house in order.

Shujaa who are now sitting in position 12 with 12 points, having bagged one point in Dubai Sevens, three points in Cape Town and seven points in Hamilton.
