Majority leader Aden Duale has claimed that NASA chief Raila Odinga is DP Ruto's biggest enemy within.
Speaking on a local television station on Thursday, Duale alleged that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) boss was desperately trying to get into the ruling Jubilee party in a bid to dismantle it from inside and destroy DP William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
“Raila is DP Ruto's enemy from within. You cannot say that the president is very good and his deputy is worst. And you also cannot conduct handshakes as two major individuals without even involving the deputy President. That is obvious division,” Duale claimed.
"And as one of the party officials, I hereby want to state clearly that Jubilee Party is focused and is here to stay. The other naysayers’ prayers are to have our party collapse but we are here to stay with the DP,” Duale firmly assured Jubilee supporters.
Even as Duale's sentiments emerge, the opposition leader Raila Odinga has over time been denying allegations that he wants to join Jubilee Party, saying his deal with president Kenyatta was purely to stabilise the country.
