Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who is considered an ardent supporter of Jubilee regime has cleared the air on where he stands politically in regard to 2022 politics.
Sonko, when asked to clarify which side he is in while he appeared for JKLive interview on Citizen TV, said he is in neither Kieleweke nor Tangatanga.
"I am 'brand Sonko' am neither Kieleweke nor Tangatanga," said the Governor adding that "that is where the system fails because they want to introduce their candidate for 2022."
According to Sonko 2022 politics is not a priority to him; his prime focus now is development to Nairobi citizens.
"Ask me about development achievements like Dandora stadium, roads, water shortage in Nairobi. I'm not interested in Kieleweke or TangaTanga," he stated.
He added that powerful forces from the Office of the President are out to sabotage him because of his style of politics.
Recently he accused nominated MP Maina Kamanda - one of Kieleweke leaders - of land grabbing in Buruburu and other parts of Nairobi.
