Trouble looms for Former Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) Chairperson Sarah Serem after Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale pledged to put her to task during her vetting.
Duale bemoaned the 'unfair' treatment that Members of Parliament had been subjected to during Sarah Serem's tenure at the commission.
"God is great. I have another opportunity to vet and discuss Sarah Serem. Sarah Serem did not know that one day that she would look for a job that would lead to the vetting," Garissa Township MP said.
Sarah Serem faced the backlash of legislators after slashing their salaries.
MPs claimed that the move to reduce their salaries was wrong as they had a lot of responsibilities`in their hands but the then SRC chairperson stuck to her guns.
It would be interesting to see how things will pan out when and if Serem faces the parliamentary vetting committee.
