On her Facebook account, the former Machakos gubernatorial candidate defended Kalonzo stating that he chose the path he thought was right for his followers.

"There comes a time in life when a leader decides from where to lead his people. Sometimes a leader can lead from the side, back or from the front. Kalonzo Musyoka has decided to lead his people where Kenya is," Ndeti posted on Tuesday.

Ndeti noted that the Wiper leader made no mistake in his utterance and therefore, every leader should respect it.

"Kenya is where Uhuru, Ruto, Raila and Kalonzo are - a united Nation and that's where Kalonzo is leading his people to. I urge my fellow leaders to cease castigating our leader," Ndeti added.

Just a few days after Kalonzo claimed to be President Uhuru's Spanner boy, leaders from the Ukambani region have rose to castigate him with some arguieng that he stooped so low putting in mind he is a leader and the region's political kingpin.

Among the leaders who asked Kalonzo to come out clean and explain his new acquired position include Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Juniour and former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama.

However, some other leaders have defended him.

Kathiani MP Robert Mbui asked leaders to give Kalonzo time to mourn his father before questioning him.
