Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama was on Friday one of the thousands of mourners who turned up at the sendoff of Nyamira County MP Jerusha Momanyi's father Andrew Nyachwaya Araka at Bosianga village in Gachuba location.
Addressing mourners at the burial, the county boss said he has embarked on development aimed at improving people's livelihoods.
The county boss said he won't continue politicking since he is focused to leave a development legacy.
"I will not be part of those politicking. My aim is to deliver on matters development as promised during the 2017 campaigns," he said.
He said all county employees should pull up their efforts and offer quality services to the people.
"I will not have any excuse as to why I should not work for the people of Nyamira since the election petition is not with us anymore. My mind is now settled and determined to develop Nyamira," he added.
The ODM allied Governor confirmed that his government will work with the national government for projects to be completed without delay.
He appealed to parents to invest in their children through education.
