Kihara wants Kenyans and leaders across the political divide to support the war against graft.

Speaking during the closure of the Lamu Service week at Hindi Prison on Friday, the AG also pleaded with politicians to stop politicising the fight against corruption

"We are losing it as a country when we start politicising and tribalising the war on graft," the AG said.

He noted that corruption is an economic dragon that must be fought ruthlessly and mercilessly.

Kihara urged agencies invloved in fighting graft to work together.

The war on graft continues to take shape as the Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) George Kinoti investigates multi-billion scandals.

The probe into some alleged graft scandals like the Sh21 Billion dams has however elicited debate with a section of politicians accusing Kinoti of allegedly targeting certain individuals.

The politicians majority allied to Deputy President William Ruto claim that the war against graft is targeting him (Ruto).

The DCI has however denied targeting certain individuals in fight against corruption.

Kinoti says he will not be intimidated or cowardice by his critics.
