Throughout social media groups, Matiang'i's individual committment to enforce government police dominated with his home mates asking President Uhuru Kenyatta to allow him coordinate all government ministries.

"We are supporting Matiang'i. Not because he's one of our own but because of his determination to make things move. He deserves Prime Minister post," wrote Terry Nyamesa at Nyamira Politics WhatsApp group.

At Borabu Watchtowers, Sam Omosa wondered why Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia is on payroll yet 'his ministry is being taken over'.

"Transport CS is a wage bill. The president should consider Matiang'i as their supervisor and coordinator of government ministries. He is doing his job well."

Dr James Ombati added: "This is one minister who knows his job. Whether you like him or not, he does what's right, no matter the resistance. He deserves to coordinate all ministries."

Despite resistance in implementation of Michuki Rules, PSV owners agreed to call off strike that saw Kenyans paralysed across the country.

At Matiang'i Nyamira backyard, several stages remained deserted even as Matatu operators moved to garage to fix their vehicles.
