Songstress Nyota Ndogo has thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for compensating her three-bedroom house that was demolished by government.
Nibebe hitmaker Nyota Ndogo took to social media to share with fans her new home and thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for honouring his promise.
This happened after her house was demolished by the government to pave way for construction of SGR.
Nyota admits that the house would never have been complete without intervntion from President Uhuru Kenyatta.
She wrote on her Instagram page, “Baada ya serekali kuleta barabara mpya ya gari la moshi nilikua moja kati ya waliobomoa nyumba zao ili barabara lipite.but kitu kinanifanya nimpende Uhuru Ukenyatta ni kusema kila mwenye haki yake alipwe nililipwa nikajenga hii.”
(After the government build the Standard Gauge Railway, I was one of those whose houses were demolished to pave way for construction. The reason why I have honoured President Kenyatta is because he ordered for proper compensation. I was paid and built this house)
This comes after it was reported that she was expecting a baby.
The Coast based artist who is married to Dane, Henning Nielsen denied the allegations in an interview with Edaily, claiming that she only added weight.
"I am shocked by reports I am reading online claiming that I am pregnant. No, I am not expecting any baby. I have added body weight; and for a very long time, my belly has always been big.“Maybe those reporters derived their conclusion from a picture I had posted online,” said the singer.
