Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko fired at SK Macharia and Citizen Television after his interview with Jeff Koinange was abruptly brought to an end.
In a defiant message, Sonko told the media mogul that he could not stop him from responding to questions that had been asked by Jeff Koinange.
"I want to tell SK Macharia and Citizen TV that you cannot stop me from responding to questions that Jeff Koinange was asking me. It is actually Jeff Koinange who asked me about Passaris," Sonko fired.
Jeff Koinange told Sonko that the programme had to be brought to an abrupt end because of controls on programme
The flamboyant Nairobi County boss was involved in a war of words with the Nairobi Woman Rep during Madaraka Day celebrations.
Passaris stormed out of the celebrations as Sonko tore into her.
The Nairobi governor has since come under blistering criticism for attacking Passaris, criticism that Sonko says is misplaced and not contexual.
He said that he responded harshly to Passaris because she provoked him and maintains that he respects women.
The Nairobi Woman Rep is currently in Canada attending a conference on women empowerment that was also graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
At the time of writing this article, Passaris had not responded to Sonko's devastating revelations.
