Chaos rocked the Kenya Primary School Heads Association (KePSHA) conference moments after the annual event kicked off on Monday morning at Sheikh Zayed Centre in Nyali, Mombasa.
Trouble started when a section of teachers started shouting on top of their voices, throwing chairs and water bottles rejecting KePSHA national chairperson Shem Ndolo.
The primary school heads were angered following an alleged grave response from Ndolo after they questioned how their 500 shillings monthly contribution is usually spent despite being slashed without their approval.
The members accused Ndolo of arrogance after he responded saying the question was 'nonsense'.
The conference was brought to a halt forcing Ndolo to cut short his opening address as members demanded his exit over alleged accountability issues and poor leadership.
During a press conference on Sunday, Ndolo said the conference would see teachers discuss the planned September 1, strike planned by Knut Secretary General Wilson Sossion.
