Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka says President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga taught him to be abusive after the August 8, 2017, presidential results' nullification.
Kalonzo said he was not used to exchanging words with other leaders, but he chose to do so after the disagreement between the two leaders.
“The two men (Uhuru and Raila) abused each other all over the world. They also taught me to be abusive,” he said in part.
He spoke during the thanksgiving ceremony of Wiper party official Joshua Olouwasa at Isinya in Kajiado East Sub-county.
Kalonzo said he did not get into any deal with President Kenyatta following pressure from his allies.
The former Vice President said he is only committed to nation building and nothing else.
“I do not have any deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta, I am on the negotiating table. Whatever it is, we will table it there. My commitment now is building bridges and helping in healing this country,” Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo made the remarks after a section of leaders faulted him for allegedly getting into a deal that doesn’t seem to benefit his people.
The Kamba political kingpin has, however, maintained that he will not change his stand even if he is criticized by various leaders.
