Suna East MP Junet Mohammed says ODM candidate in the forthcoming Kibra by-elections, Imran Okoth is the best candidate for the electorate.
According to Junet, Imran has made tangible accomplishments which makes it easy for him to sell his agenda to the people of Kibra.
"HON. @ImranOkoth remains the most suitable candidate for Kibra. He has a track record that speaks for itself in the constituency. Let’s not fix what’s working. A vote for Imran is a vote for even faster development in Kibra," tweeted Junet.
Junet who double up as ODM's Director of Elections further noted that the party's focus was not to convince the electorate that Imran was development-oriented because it is in the public domain.
Imran Okoth is seeking to succeed his late brother, former Kibra MP Ken Okoth. Ken succumbed to colorectal cancer in August.
Imran won ODM nominations and is set to battle it out with Jubilee's McDonald Mariga.
ODM boss Raila Odinga has since asked Kibra residents to maintain peace ahead of the by-election slated for November 7.
