The opening of the premise to the customers follows intensive consultations and inspections by structural engineers sent from the National Construction Authority.

However, the restaurant and its basement area, christened Zone A, will remain closed as remedies, including reinforcement of its pillars, are undertaken.

According to a letter to the press, the management has informed customers and staff that the building is safe.

“In full cooperation with county government and other government agencies various tests and assessments were performed. In summary, as per the reports, the building remains safe for human occupation but the designated area has been cordoned off for restoration as agreed with the said government agencies,” read part of the letter.
