Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua was among thousands of people who joined Eng Francis Maliti's family during the burial of his brother, Lazarus Maliti on Saturday in Machakos.

During the burial, Mutua eulogized the deceased as a selfless and industrious person who dedicated his life for his family. 

He also said that he was a good man and a friend who he will miss a lot. 

"Joined family and friends of my Deputy Governor, Francis Maliti yesterday for the funeral service of his brother, Lazarus Maliti. Eulogized as an industrious, selfless, religious and dedicated family man, the late Lazarus was a good man who will surely be missed. May he RIP” Mutua tweeted.

Lazarus who was also a head teacher at Kalukuni primary school met his death a few weeks ago after collapsing in an event. 

While paying his last respect to his brother, the Machakos Deputy Governor eulogize him as a religious, selfless man who loved his family a lot.

“Industrious, selfless, religious and a dedicated family man, the late Lazarus was the Deputy Headteacher at Kalukuni Primary School in Kithimani at the time of his death. We will greatly miss you, Fare thee well, brother” Maliti said in a tweet.
