Opposition leader Raila Odinga, in an exclusive interview on Tuesday with the Voice of America through a phone call from German, said that Haji's net could fall on anyone even himself.
While commenting on the arrest of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu, he contended that during arrests individuals who are guilty and those who are not affected.
"The Swahili have a saying that a trap usually catches those who are involved and those who are not. Today it could be somebody else and tomorrow yourself and the following day it could be myself," Odinga said of Haji's arrest.
His words came in the wake of high profile arrests over corruption.
Some members of his party had contended that DCJ Mwilu was being persecuted, a contention that Raila rebuffed.
Haji has maintained that he intends to go after influential individuals engaging in corruption.
