Bahati Member of Parliament now says that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto will surely approach the 2022 general elections as a pair.
Speaking in Lanet, Nakuru County on Saturday, the Jubilee Party MP however noted that there are forces being employed in a bid to create a rift between them.
However, he warned the people behind the attempts of a terrible failure, saying that the two have proved that they are inseparable, thanks to their long friendship since the 80s.
"Uhuru and Ruto have a long friendship that started way back in the 80s," he said, adding that both are political students of retired President Daniel Moi, making them identical.
Ironically, the MP was earlier in the year involved in an exchange with the President, accusing him of plotting to betray his deputy in favour of opposition boss Raila Odinga.
He has repeatedly accused Raila of using his political treachery to woo Uhuru to his side, in a bid to prevent him (Uhuru) from keeping his promise of endorsing Ruto in 2022.
The vocal parliamentarian was speaking when the nation marked its 56th Madaraka Day celebrations at Umoja Primary School.
He has since declared his full support for Ruto's 2022 presidential bid, defying Uhuru's calls for politicians to shun politicking and await the right time.
