Pokot South member of Parliament David Pkosing has broken his silence on the brutal murder of Kipchumba Murkomen's aide and former MCA Kapyego ward Benson Kiptire.
In a Facebook post, Pkosing interrogated the events that led to the abduction and subsequent murder of a Pokot in Elgeyo Marakwet and weeks later, a Marakwet is Abducted and eventually murdered in West Pokot.
"Pokot kidnapped in Kapenguria three weeks ago and killed in Elgeyo Marakwet (Kaptagat forest). A Marakwet kidnapped in Eldoret and killed in Kapenguria (Kamatira forest). Both communities known to be in conflict and someone wants us to believe that nothing is said?" MP Pkosing posed.
In shocking revelation, the vocal MP claimed the killers are individuals who want to make the two communities fight against each other.
"... What is their aim? Simple, make both communities fight against each other.... Those who killed our kinsmen are known and the law will find them soon," the statement further added.
A day to his cold blood murder, the slain former KANU MCA Benson Kiptire was picked up by individuals masquerading as police officers from his Eldoret shop on Friday, only for his lifeless body to be recovered at Kamatira forest in Kapenguria.
Leaders have since called on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to speed up their investigations into the murder.
