While addressing tens of MCAs from the county, Moi said KANU will strongly back President Uhuru Kenyatta's Big Four agenda ahead of 2022 polls.

Also, the Baringo senator said KANU party is headed in the right direction, an indication that it's revamping ahead of 2022 polls.

"Today I and other top officials of our party, Kanu, had a very fruitful day long meeting with our Members of County Assembly in Nakuru.

"The MCAs displayed great passion for the party and expressed confidence that the party is headed in the right direction. I am happy that the MCAs also supported our resolve as a party to support H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta in his big four agenda," he said.

In Nakuru, Dr Ruto is working closely with areas Senator Susan Kihika and Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri. He's keen to ride on Jubilee party popularity.

In the past, Moi has often dismissed Dr Ruto's ambitions, often slamming him of early 2022 presidential election campaigns.

"He should stop telling us to rally behind him in the 2022 elections. What Kenyans want now is better services. Let him improve the lives of the citizens instead of telling them to believe in his farfetched dreams," he said in a past event.
