Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday departed Mombasa city after a two-day visit.
It has now emerged that President Museveni spent his night at the Nyali Golf View Residence (NGVR) during his state visit to Kenya
Speaking to the Standard, Dr. Benedict Mutuku, the Managing Director of Goldwyne Consult Limited who manage the premises, said that they were privileged to host the President.
The MD further noted that they have hosted a number of high profile guests before, due to their excellent services.
Regarding Museveni's visit, the hotel boss divulged that Museveni's stay is a big boost the facility.
"We have a number of high profile guests here. But the visit by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni during his recent State visit has led to a barrage of inquiries on what we offer here,'' Dr. Mutuku said, as quoted by Standard.
During his stay in Mombasa, Museveni met President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
The two presidents pledged to continue working together for the sake of economic benefits for the two countries.
