Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina now says that the opposition has nothing to do with the worsening conditions within the ruling Jubilee Party which is breaking into two.
Jubilee leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto have been accusing the opposition leader Raila Odinga of the same lately, citing his truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The group has been claiming that Raila is using his closeness with Kenyatta to widen the rift, claims that Ole Kina has faulted, citing that the party is in the process of self-destruction.
He cited the apparent confusion and disagreements within Jubilee, has resulted in the emergence of two factions, each preaching its own 'gospel' and tearing into the other
"We will not destroy Jubilee. They will destroy themselves with their confusion, disagreements and infights. We can see two separate factions currently," said the opposition lawmaker.
Ledama was speaking during an interview on Citizen TV's News Night, Tuesday evening, which was also attended by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei.
He called the nation's attention to Ruto's visit of Kiambu County during the weekend, where his supporters were seen dressed in yellow, a colour associated with his defunct United Republic Party.
He termed it as proof enough that the DP and his team are considering deploying their 'Plan B' by moving back to the party's roots after realizing that Jubilee is on its deathbed.
"We have even seen the DPs supporters dressed in yellow meaning that plans are in place to return to the URP party," he added.
