Tuju noted that the ruling outfit, just like any other party in a democratic world, has it own challenges

"I want to confirm that there are divisions among members in the Jubilee Party but, that doesn't mean that the party is collapsing. The few challenges the party is facing are being solved to normalise the situation," he said.

He was speaking on Tuesday night during an interview with Citizen TV.

According to Tuju, the divisions won't derail President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto's performance.

He assured that he is doing everything possible to ensure the party operations run smoothly.

Tuju appealed to Jubilee allied politicians to embrace peace and unity for the sake of the historic handshake between President Uhuru and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

"I urge all members in the party to be calm as the divisions in the party are being addressed. Jubilee Party members need to support the head of state to deliver towards the realisation of the Big Four agenda," he added.
