In statement on its social media page, DCI asked Alai to appear at the office to disclose what he knows about the alleged scandal.  The DCI promised not to disclose the information he will reveal to them.

“Good morning @RobertAlai. Please visit us @DCI_Kenya Headquarters or write to us @director@cid.go.ke to give further details on the same. We’ll treat the information with the sensitivity & confidenteliality it requires. Thank you you sir for agreeing to volunteer information,” DCI said in a statement.

Alai has insisted that he is aware of the dirty deals at KRA's office.

“Hey @DCI, I have details of properties of a senior KRA manager you can investigate. The wealth he has is just out of the ordinary. Come to me if you are interested. @EACCKenya,” he said.

Miguna also said that he doesn’t believe that all senior KRA managers were not involved in corruption. He claimed that there is ethnic cleansing at the KRA offices.

This comes after75 Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) staff were arrested on Friday.
