Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has hit out at Governor Mike Sonko claiming that he does not respect her.
Passaris alleges that Sonko never invites her to county functions and activities.
The ODM politician now alleges that Governor Sonko looks down upon her office.
Passaris said that she holds an important position in the county leadership.
“He (Sonko) needs to respect me because I won the 2017 election with over 800,000 votes,” the Nairobi women rep told journalists in Nairobi on Saturday.
Passaris claims that her efforts to reach Sonko over the matter have hit a snug.
“I have tried nine times to reach Governor Sonko but all has been fruitless,” she added.
The Nairobi women rep says that Nairobi county will register development if all leaders respect each other and work together.
She said that there was no superior or inferior political office and that all are created by the constitution.
