On Saturday, MPs led by Alfred Keter of Nandi Hills, perceived to be allied to Gideon Moi, accused Ruto of sabotaging maize farming.

And in a rejoinder, Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has dismissed the MPs even claiming that Cherangany MP Jushua Kutuny is not a Kalenjin thus not fit to comment on geopolitics.

"Let Kutuny go to his people. There is a Kalenjin saying that only the mother who knows where her children were born.

"Kutuny should be investigated. He's not a Kalenjin. Let him go and make noise elsewhere and not in Rift Valley," fired Kutuny.

The second time legislator who was first elected on ODM in 2007, had lately turned against Ruto, his political mentor and is perceived to be pushing for Gideon Moi candidature.

Recently, Kutuny warned that Ruto has to change tactic on his approach for him to win State House race.

"Things ain't working out. He must change his attitude and approach. Things are now thick and tough," he said.
