Gor Mahia and Bandari played out an entertaining super cup final with K'Ogalo taking the trophy after a slim 1-0 victory.
Lawrence Juma opened the scoring with a well taken shot in the 65th minute to seal the victory for Kenyan champions.
Here we take a look at how some of the K'Ogalo players fared during their 1-0 win;
Joash Onyango 9/10
Against Bandari, centre back Joash Onyango made just his second competitive start for K'Ogalo since returning from the knee injury he suffered during the AFCON 2019. However, the Kenyan international was arguably the best defender on the pitch and showed glimpses of what he can offer in defence.
Nicolas Kipkirui 8/10
Whiz kid Nicolas Kipkirui continued to prove his importance to this Gor side. The introduction of Kipkirui in the second half brought new life to the attacking trio. It was Kipkirui, who set up the ball for Lawrence Juma’s winning goal.
Kenneth Muguna 8/10
Recently appointed Gor’s skipper, Muguna was an outstanding player against Bandari. The 23-year-old played with great maturity for someone of his age. There are now substantial reasons as to why Gor were OK with waving goodbye to Harun Shakava. With the emergence of Muguna up the ranks, the team has a generational talent.
David Mapigano 10/10
The new goalkeeper was exceptional in goal, showed good reflexes in the first half as he kept Bandari quite.
