Sonko congratulated the Reds for their stunning comeback at Anfield that left many mouths wide open.

Liverpool scored four unanswered goals, grabbing a spot in the finals in Madrid.

In a tweet, Sonko revealed that he would like to see Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur, another English side.

Tottenham Hotspur face Ajax, a Dutch side, in a second leg fixture that will determine who will face the Reds.

Well done @DivockOrigi for scoring a brace to send @LFC to the @ChampionsLeague final by knocking out Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate. Now tunataka Origi vs Tottenham's @VictorWanyama in the finals, " Sonko tweeted after the scintillating game.

Liverpool managed to beat Barcelona in spite of two of their star players, Mohammed Salah and Firmino, missing out over injury.

The English side has had an exciting run that has seen them pull off mind-blowing performances in both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
