A Kisumu pastor has alleged that a certain club is secretly recruiting young men into homosexuality for a lucrative amount of money.
According to Pastor Enock Washila from Lolwe Pentecostal Church, the club is led by two white men in collaboration with other local individuals.
Pastor Washila claimed that unemployed youths in Kisumu are the majority target, adding that a good number of youths have already signed with the club.
The religious leader divulged that the target youths are offered hundreds of thousands to become gays.
“Parents of Kisumu, let us be very careful. Our sons are unsafe now. There is a club around here recruiting our sons into homosexuality. They offer Sh 100,000 for our poor sons to conduct immorality,” he said during a church service on Sunday.
Evans Mbande, a movie shop owner at Lolwe on Wednesday corroborated with the pastor’s claims saying he knows two boys already earning big money after joining the club.
“One of them comes here for movies. I know him very well. He doesn't have a job but always insist that I keep change every time he buys a movie. His lifestyle has changed,” said Evans.
