Breakups and the perceived 'eternal' separation from that special someone you had chosen to love is what completely devastates a person. While others find it hard to take the next step in life immediately, some will wander out hardly before the storms cool down to shred their heartache.
On that note, an individual will choose to find people that will help them forget the ordeal or just move forward with them if the deal sounds good.
All in all, the constant remains, these things will always happen once you meet someone good after a breakup.
1. You apologise too often
Once bitten, twice shy. After a breakup, you will not lose anyone you settle for especially if they are as good as or even better than the previous partner or lover. As such, you will always be apologetic for every tiny mistake or detail you did not get right. All will be in the fear that if you do anything silly, they will be gone and you will have to start all over again.
2. You expect the worst, at first
After you settle for someone after a breakup and find that they are just good, you will expect that they may decide to walk away because 'you are not good enough' for them. You may expect them to be even worse than what you experienced earlier, in the previous relationship.
3. You have the 'too good to be true' feeling
At times you will be wondering why they seem so perfect for you. But then, you will take a step back and ask yourself if they are really serious or are just after destroying you, again.
4. You over think
You will be taking much of the time on the sidelines thinking and trying to uncover any characteristics from the previous lover. It will never be easy for you even after they declare that they do love you.
