Raila Odinga's eldest daughter Rosemary Odinga has reportedly relocated to Mombasa amid claims that she'd gone blind.
Ms Odinga, who dropped her political ambitions in 2017 after suffering from brain tumour, is said to have moved to her father's Nyali home.
"She has gone blind. She confessed during the burial of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology on Saturday. I was sad to hear her predicaments," a student leader to the institution spoke in confidence.
Since returning from South Africa, Rosemary has taken leave from public life and details about her whereabouts remain scanty until resurfacing on Saturday.
And aide at Capitol Hill, while he remained non committal on blindness, conceded that she currently stays at the coastal town.
"I don't want to talk about blindness but she stays in Nyali. She is doing well. If you want to talk to her, that is the place you can easily get her," he said.
Raila commissioned his Nyali home in July when it was painted Blue and White following a county government of Mombasa directive.
Lately, Raila is closely working with his last born daughter Winnie Odinga, who is said to have been elevated as his Personal Secretary in the AU duty.
Efforts to confirm latest development could not bear fruits from the family even as another aide, Ibrahim asked to be "spared" from the debate.
