People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs') in Kapseret constituency of Uasin Gishu county will soon have a reason to smile.

The second phase will see Sh1,124,000 million disbursed to beneficiaries across the 5 wards in Sub County.
This means every ward will receive about Sh224,000 that will then be given to PLWDs.
The funds' committee which is chaired by the Kapseret Sub County administrator Phillip Biwott has identified an average of 20 people who will be given Sh10, 000 each whereas in the first phase 50 people in every ward benefited where Sh2.6 million that was issued.
Speaking during the meeting on Thursday, Biwott said those being considered did not benefit from the first phase and the next phase of beneficiaries will be those who miss out on both the first and the second phases.
The funds are given by the governor Jackson Mandago-led administration to financially support people living with disabilities in the Sub County.
Other Sub Counties also have a similar allocation for the disabled.
