Kenya national team Harambee stars have moved five places up in the latest FIFA ranking. Kenya previously ranked 112 in the world, is now placed at position 107.
This is after Stars accrued 22 points with the thumping of Ghana in AFCON qualifier and Malawi's Flames in an international friendly match.
East Africa giants
Uganda Cranes commands the region at position (83), Sudan (132), Rwanda (137), Tanzania (140), Burundi (148) while Ethiopia whom will entertain Kenya in the upcoming Afcon duel is ranked (149).
Africa top five
Tunisia is ranked best in Africa and at position (23) in the world, Senegal (25), DR Congo (40), Morocco (45) and Nigeria is placed (48).
Belgium and World Champions France are tied at the top spot, while Brazil, Croatia, and Uruguay close the top five position in the world.
