Likuyani Member of Parliament Enock Kibunguchi has weighed in on the cold-blood murder of his driver Douglas Wakacha.

The MP sensationally claimed that the bullet that was fired at his driver was meant for him, calling it a failed assassination attempt.

"I believe, I believe that that bullet was meant for me. It was an attempt on my life. Whether Kibunguchi is killed or not, the person who is trying to do that will never be the Member of Parliament for Likuyani," Kibunguchi said.

Douglas was killed Sunday night by unknown assailants.

Mr Kibunguchy went on to imply that his political adversaries were out to take him out.

He said that he new who were behind the killing but would not name them.
