Wambugu noted five reasons on his official Facebook page to justify his opinion that the president and his deputy do not agree with one another's style of handling matters of national importance.

The legislator argued that although a section of leaders allied to Ruto want to make people believe Uhuru and his deputy are supporting similar administrative strategies, the nature of recent happenings between the duo reveals the opposite.

"Tangatanga MPs would want us to believe that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto are working together. But are they?" Wondered Wambugu.

Concerning peacemaking and building bridges, Wambugu said the president supports the idea fully while his assistant absolutely fights the same.

He noted Ruto fights Uhuru's graft purge endeavours by undermining investigative and prosecution agencies.

The first time MP observed that the deputy president campaigns for his 2022 bid this early, an act against his boss' directive.

The lawmaker further remarked that Ruto deliberately refused to register with Huduma number and has mobilised his allies to fight it directly and indirectly.

"The DP can still change direction, even today. But clearly, as of right now he (Ruto) and the President are not reading from the same script on each issue and publicly," noted the lawmaker.
