A video doing rounds on social media has elicited mixed reactions after it showed a drunk police officer staggering.

The video taken on a Mombasa street, shows a traffic cop from the Kenya Police Service in mud, trying to get up on his knees in vain.

Onlookers and good samaritans come to the rescue of the cop, by supporting him to get up from the dirty waters. 

The officer however is still unable to support himself.
