There was drama at Mabatini area on Tuesday morning after a Moi University student busted his girlfriend pants down with a sponsor.
The student, Fredrick Kiptoo is said to have received a tip-off from a friend that his girlfriend, Nancy Wairimu had spent the night with a man in her room. Acting on the tip-off, Kiptoo gave her girlfriend a surprise visit in the morning.
His suspicions had grown stronger after his girlfriend refused to pick his calls. True to his suspicion and the tip-off he had received, the student busted the girlfriend with a middle-aged man in her room. The man was only wearing a vest and a short; a clear indication that he had been there the whole night.
"He went to her place at around 7:00 am after he was told that Wairimu was with another man at her room. He had tried calling her the previous night but she was not picking up his calls," Moses Karanja, a roommate to Kiptoo who had also accompanied him to Wairumu's place narrated.
According to Karanja who is not just a roommate to Kiptoo but also a close friend, Kiptoo had earlier on suspected that his girlfriend was being unfaithful but he did not have proof.
"He has always suspected that his girlfriend was having an affair with another man but he could not prove it. He once opened up to me on how he had bumped into love messages in Wairimu's phone," Karanja explained.
Ironically, the girlfriend began yelling at her boyfriend for coming to her place without a notice. He tried gaining access to the room to smoke out the man but she locked the door before he could open.
The commotion attracted a sizable crowd. After failed attempts to open the door, Kiptoo and his roommate were forced to retreat and head back to their room.
