The second term MP who is keen to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, will be among chief guests at St Justin Catholic Church at Nyanturago where he will be hosted by Vincent Kemosi.

Last Friday, Kuria shared podium with Raila Odinga in Wajir where he insisted that his presidential bid is unstoppable despite resistance from the Central Kenya leaders.

"Abagirango minto buyamure ?Tukutane Nyanturago (Nyamira) kesho," wrote Kuria on his Facebook page. (Our people from Mugirango how are you?)

Besides Kuria, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose and Nyamira Senator Okong'o Mogeni will also be attending.

Nyamira County overwhelmingly voted for Raila in 2017 presidential elections. Also, in the last two elections prior to 2017, Raila overpowered his main competitors.

Royal Media Egesa FM will host the leaders at the event. Mr Kemosi, the area MP, who was elected on a Ford Kenya ticket, said his hosts are free to address all contemporary issues.

"They are my guests and I will not control what they will speak. Kuria has a right to contest and I wish him well. You cannot just condemn someone for having a vision," he said on a phone interview.

Besides Kuria, Deputy President William Ruto has also joined the succession race and he's dimmed to be the lead candidate at the moment.
