Speaking at Deliverance church in Eldoret on Sunday Lonyangapuo termed the allegations as false, ill-intended and that he is in KANU to stay.

“As a governor of West Pokot, I need to work with all leaders. If I work with president Uhuru Kenyatta, and his deputy William Ruto, have you forgotten that KANU is inside Jubilee and we are one but the same,” said the KANU West Pokot governor.

Prof Lonyangapuo said politics is over and its time to work for the electorates and that they will play politics when the right time comes.

“If you work with political leaders from different divides those with few brains and half hearts will think that one has defected. Even if Raila Odinga comes I will work with him for the benefit of the electorates and that does not mean I have joined his party,” he added.

The West Pokot governor however condemned politicians who have started early 2022 campaigns saying it’s a sin and should be sent to prison since they are worse than the thieves and are torturing the minds of the electorates.

He further said that its time to work for the electorates and Kenyans will cross the 2022 succession politics bridge when they reach there.
