However, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has a different point of view as to why president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are fighting. 

According to Ngunyi, the duo is fighting because they have forsaken God who have been with through difficulties and have granted them victory at every point. 

He said that the Head of State was very humble when he was first elected as the president but he has suddenly changed after the re-election.

“When Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in for the first time, he knelt down with Ruto before the Almighty and we prayed for him and anointed him our leader. As commander in chief, you do not kneel before your soldiers, he goes against his protocols, he was humble. But after God granted them victory at the ICC and granted them victory during the difficult 2017 election,” opined the analyst through his YouTube channel.

He also warned the two leaders that if they do not manage politics, they will be managed by it.  

“They seem to have become ungrateful and that is why they are fighting each other. We calling them to order because if they do not manage politics, politics will manage them,” Mutahi Ngunyi said on Sund
