It could also inconvenience you, in case you are expecting an important call.

However, some hacks could improve your phone's battery life, and ensure you get the best out of it:

1. Turn the brightness level down

The screen uses too much power. It is much worse when the brightness level is high. Some phones auto-adjust the screen brightness based on the variation of light. It is advisable to lower the brightness to conserve battery life. 2. Do not leave your phone to overheat. Your phone may overheat for various reasons, such as exposure to sunlight and excessive internet use. These things limit the life of your battery.

3. Do not overcharge

Most people leave their phones charging overnight. It is not good for the battery. Do not reach for the charger before the battery percentage is below fifteen per cent. Also, do not use your phone while charging. It tends to overheat, which, as mentioned earlier, is not good for the battery.4.Disable app auto updates, notifications and vibrations These phone features consume more power than you think. To save your battery, it is advisable to disable them, especially when not using the phone. 5. Use flight mode The flight mode comes in handy especially when you are not using the phone. It disables all phone functions such as connectivity, hence conserving battery life. It is also advisable to switch to flight mode in case you want the battery to charge faster.
