Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i has condemned ODM leader Raila Odinga over his continued dragging of Deputy President William Ruto into corruption scandals.
Mr Tong'i challenged Raila to peacefully retire from politics saying Kenyans are tired about his poor style of leadership.
"Raila is a confused man trying to seek relevance in politics. It is high time Raila should retire in peace. There is no way he will continue dragging DP Ruto into corruption scandals anytime scandals come up," he said.
The vocal lawmaker said Raila is misusing the handshake.
"President Uhuru Kenyatta agreed to shake hands with Raila purposely to bring peace and unity in this country but, Raila is busy planning on how he should kick out DP Ruto from Jubilee. I wish to confirm that Raila's ill plan to force Ruto out of Jubilee won't work," said Tong'i.
He maintained that Ruto's presidential ambition is unstoppable.
"Raila and his opposition should prepare to lost in 2022 because Ruto will win presidency due to his massive support across the country," he added.
Tong'i was speaking on Sunday at Keumbu market.
