Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has rejected dialogue from embattled Nominated ANC MP Godfrey Osotsi, it has emerged.
Addressing the press on Sunday, the MPs revealed that his calls for talks with the party regarding the bad blood between them have been rejected by Mudavadi's side.
Osotsi was recently ousted as the party's Secretary-General, with the party also being in the process of expelling him, which could see him lose his parliamentary position.
On Sunday, he disclosed in writing to the party on May 6 calling for a sit-down, a request that was rejected by Mudavadi through his lawyer, saying that the dialogue window is closed.
"He (Mudavadi) has written to me through his lawyer saying that the window for dialogue is closed," read a response by Mudavadi after a church service at Stanley Godia Secondary.
He said that his team of lawyers is ready for anything.
He called upon the ANC party boss to embrace a better way of conflict resolution and demonstrate proper leadership.
"I am asking (Mr) Mudavadi to take this opportunity to demonstrate leadership. It is only him and I who know the secrets of this party. I am ready for dialogue and compromise," he added.
He faulted the party for chest thumping and throwing out the fact that he has been committed to the party since its formation.
